Podcast Growth
How to Promote Your Podcast With Smart Links
Your podcast exists on 10+ apps but you can only share one link. Podcast smart links solve this problem — and add fan capture that grows your audience beyond listener counts.
Promoting a podcast across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts is the same multi-platform problem musicians face with streaming. A podcast smart link solves it with one shareable URL — and adds email capture that podcast platforms cannot provide.
1. Create a podcast smart link for each episode
In Lynkify, create a Release Link and select the podcast episode type. Add your Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and RSS links for the specific episode. Your podcast smart link displays the episode artwork, title, description, and platform buttons. Share this link everywhere you promote the episode — social posts, email, show notes, guest social tags.
2. Set up a Podcast Hub for your show
Your Podcast Hub (on Lynkify, found under Podcast in your workspace) is the homepage for your entire show. It imports all episodes from your RSS feed automatically and displays them as a browsable episode list with platform links and episode pages. Share your Podcast Hub URL as your show's permanent home on the web — in your podcast description, bio links, and press materials.
3. Add email capture to your podcast pages
Fan email capture is built into every Lynkify podcast surface. Listeners who visit your episode smart link or Podcast Hub can sign up to be notified of new episodes via email — outside of Apple Podcasts and Spotify's notification systems, which are unreliable. Podcast listeners who join your email list are the most engaged segment of your audience.
4. Link your podcast to your music bio page
If you are an artist who also has a podcast (or a podcaster who also makes music), your Lynkify bio page can display both. Add a podcast block to your bio page that links to your Podcast Hub. This cross-promotes your audio content to fans who may not know you have a podcast, and vice versa.
5. Use podcast analytics to understand your audience
Lynkify analytics on your podcast smart links and Podcast Hub show which platforms your listeners prefer, where your traffic is coming from, and what your email capture rate is. Cross-reference this with your podcast host analytics (Buzzsprout, Transistor, etc.) to get a complete picture of who is listening and how they found your show.
